My North

Founder of Fyrda holding handmade Nordic candles in nature

I’m Ana — founder of FYRDA.
A candle artist. A traveler to the North. A believer in rhythm, stillness, and soul.

For many years, I lived by logic — in structured leadership roles, full of planning and pressure.
But inside, there was always a quiet voice whispering: slow down.
And one day — I did.
I lit a candle. And began to create.

FYRDA was born not from a business plan — but from a decision:
To stop following systems, and start following soul.

Now, every candle I make is poured by hand. No machines. No shortcuts.
Only care. Intuition. Music. Intention.

Scandinavian vinyl records play in the background — sometimes haunting, sometimes bright.
The rhythms guide my hands. Especially the voice of Eivør, Icelandic artist behind The Last Kingdom. She personally signed the record I work to. Her spirit lives in the flame.

Every candle is different. Because every season of my life brings a new collection.
Each scent is my own blend — I test, I trust, I start over if it’s “almost right.”

This is not mass production.
This is slow creation.

A Fyrda candle is not just wax.
It is energy, silence, breath, presence.
It’s the fire of the soul.
